English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Tutoring/Teaching Workshop
Loudoun Literacy Council routinely offers workshop on teaching adult English Language Learners. Topics include:
best approaches to teaching a diverse community of learners;
techniques, guides, and resources;
fun, interactive activities that promote learning; and
tips on understanding, appreciating, and celebrating cultural differences.
Upon completion of this training, you will be eligible to either tutor a student one on one, or to teach or co-teach our English classes held at locations throughout Loudoun County. Our training focuses on engaging students by practicing life skills as well as English communication and literacy.
Our next teacher training will be held on January 11, 2020 at Rust Library from 11-4pm.
