English Language Learners (ELL) Tutoring/Teaching Workshop

Loudoun Literacy Council routinely offers workshops on teaching adult English Language Learners. Topics include:

Best approaches to teaching a diverse community of learners

Techniques, guides, and resources

Fun and interactive activities that promote learning

Tips on understanding, appreciating, & celebrating cultural differences

Upon completion of this training, you will be eligible to either tutor a student one-on-one or to teach or co-teach our English classes held at locations throughout Loudoun County. Our training focuses on engaging students by practicing life skills as well as English communication and literacy.

Loudoun Literacy Council is offering a free workshop on teaching English to adults to empower them to become self-sufficient and confident in their ability to achieve their personal and professional goals. Topics include teaching techniques and resources, fun and interactive activities that promote learning, and tips on understanding, managing, and celebrating cultural differences.
