English Language Learners (ELL) Tutoring/Teaching Workshop

Loudoun Literacy Council routinely offers workshop on teaching adult English Language Learners. Topics include:

  • best approaches to teaching a diverse community of learners;
  • techniques, guides, and resources;
  • fun, interactive activities that promote learning; and
  • tips on understanding, appreciating, and celebrating cultural differences.

Upon completion of this training, you will be eligible to either tutor a student one on one, or to teach or co-teach our English classes held at locations throughout Loudoun County. Our training focuses on engaging students by practicing life skills as well as English communication and literacy.
