The need for literacy programs remains urgent: 

• 143,000 local residents struggle with limited English proficiency. 

• 72% of children whose parents face literacy challenges are likely to follow the same path. 

• 43% of adults with low literacy skills live in poverty. 

For over 44 years, Loudoun Literacy Council has worked tirelessly to address these challenges through programs that empower individuals and families. Yet, sustainable support is critical to expanding this impact.
